Make it as easy to build housing for the most vulnerable as it is to build single detached homes by changing zoning rules.
Encourage the development of rental housing in all residential parts of the city, particularly in low-density areas.
Discourage sprawling mansions by allowing for smaller lots sizes and for the low-cost conversion of existing large homes into multiple rental or strata units.
Use tax revenue (e.g. from OneCity's "Windfall Power" land value tax) to build thousands of guaranteed, affordable city-owned housing on city-owned land.
