This OneCity virtual "listening session" will be an opportunity for us to hear from those involved in the arts & culture sector about their thoughts on the current state of the sector in Vancouver. The focus of the discussion will be on questions like affordability; supporting diversity and reconciliation through the arts; and how do we want to rebuild as we emerge from COVID. We have invited Marcus Youssef of Newworld Theatre to moderate, and JD Derbyshire (theatre, disability arts), Charlie Wu (festival, Taiwan Fest), Amelie Malissard (music, artist & project management) and Vanessa Kwan (visual+public art, grunt gallery) to share their thoughts with us.
