The City of Vancouver's largest Climate Emergency Action Plan comes back to Council Nov 3rd, and we need your help to make sure it passes.
Vancouver has been a global leader on climate action for decades, but we haven't always done it equitably, and we haven't met our own GHG reduction targets.
We need a new level of ambition, aligned with the scale of the emergency. And we need to make sure it is rooted in equity, so that it doesn't worsen existing economic, social and racial inequalities across the city.
We need your help to make sure Council follows through and passes the recommendations in full, without weakening, delaying or underfunding them.
