Executive

Cara Ng (Co-Chair) is a substance use researcher and longtime member of OneCity who lives with her family in East Vancouver.

Laura Track (Co-Chair) is a long-time Vancouver resident and renter, a human rights lawyer, and a lover of bikes, beers, and the great outdoors.

Tlakwasikan Khelsilem (Recording Secretary) is a community leader who believes we need more social democracy. He’s queer, a renter, and a dog owner.

Thea Dowler (Treasurer) 

Nadja Komnenic (Membership Secretary) is a graduate student and constituency assistant in Vancouver. She loves cycling, socialism, and equitable land-use policy. 

Members At Large

Kimberley Wong (黄壯慈) is a young queer Cantonese diasporic community organizer, who works in Chinatown and has a passion for crafting culturally appropriate and progressive policy for underrepresented communities.

Anne Kessler was born and raised in East Vancouver, and is now an educator, garden-enthusiast, and cat-lover.

Sian Madoc-Jones is a feminist, community organizer, fundraiser and proud fourth generation Japanese-Welsh Canadian, who is grateful to live on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples.

David Huxtable is a worker organizer and advocate.  

Michael Hughes is a physicist. He enjoys a Vancouver craft beer after a long bike ride or hike.

David Chudnovsky is a retired teacher, past president of the BCTF, and was the MLA of Vancouver-Kensington from 2005-2009. David is a doting father and grandfather.

Mark Beaty is a musician and teacher with experience in public policy research and community engagement. He loves cycling, camping, and hearing live music. 

Alison Atkinson is a secondary school English teacher, bike enthusiast, and mom of two kids.
