Iona has spent 20 years as an urban and transportation planner, focused on connecting people to the places they need to go with better walking, biking, and public transit infrastructure, and engaging people meaningfully by going out into neighbourhoods and meeting people where they are at. Now she's running to bring that experience to the council table.
