She/Her
Iona has spent 20 years as an urban and transportation planner, focused on connecting people to the places they need to go with better walking, biking, and public transit infrastructure, and engaging people meaningfully by going out into neighbourhoods and meeting people where they are at. She also worked at the City of Vancouver as a senior transportation planner and has served in leadership positions on non-profit boards, including Women Transforming Cities and the Trout Lake Community Centre Association.
Iona also has an environmental background and owns a small business empowering people to lead greener and healthier lives.
Iona is running again to ensure everyday people in neighbourhoods across the city have safe and affordable housing and transportation options, and to ensure the decisions made at City Hall takes care of people living in Vancouver now and in the future.
