Bike the Vote!

On April 5th, Vancouver goes to the polls to elect a new City Councillor. Now more than ever, we need a progressive champion in City Hall who's working for you.

“Avid cyclist” Sim and ABC killed the Broadway bike lane, they’re spending millions to tear up the beautiful Beach Ave bike lane, they’ve made our roads more dangerous by ripping out the Stanley Park bike lane, and are running a candidate who has made controversial comments about pedestrian safety.

Actual cyclist Lucy Maloney fought for a protected active transportation lane next to her kid's school as president of the PAC, led the charge to protect the Stanley Park bike lane at Love the Lane and now educates and advocates for safe streets with Vision Zero Vancouver. She’s also helped out at HUB and is the Leader of the DPAC Active Transport Safe Routes Working Group.

The best way to diversify transportation options, improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists, and create better cycling solutions is to elect a councillor who is one of our own.

Join us as we talk to pedestrians, cyclists, and all micro-mobility users along the city's bike routes to introduce them to the great work Lucy has done and will do, and send them to the polls!
