Join the OneCity Downtown-West End Neighbourhood Team for a Picnic & Learn at David Lam Park as part of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival's Big Picnic event.
We will meet at 11am and from 11:30am - 12:30pm our very own Natalie Cushing will host a picnic talk inspired by her annual West End Tree Jane's Walk. She will teach attendees how to do check up on the health of their local neighbourhood trees and a share a report card on the implementation of the the Urban Forest Strategy by the City and Park Board. Afterwards we'll enjoy a nice picnic in the park and informally chat with other interested park goers about OneCity's urban forestry policies.
Make sure to bring your own blanket/chairs and snacks.
