Join us this Orange Shirt Day as we come together in community to honour Survivors and those who have been lost, and walk forward together in healing.

The day will begin with an Honour Walk at 10:00 AM from the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre to Grandview Park. We encourage everyone to bring their drums and wear orange in solidarity.

This year’s event theme is “Honouring the Past, Healing the Present, Inspiring the Future”. The gathering at Grandview Park will include cultural and contemporary performances, a sacred fire, and an Indigenous market.

This event is hosted by: Metro Vancouver Aboriginal Executive Council, VACPC, Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society, Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, REACH Community Health Centre, Vancouver Aboriginal Child & Family Services Society, and Britannia Community Services Centre. For more information, visit their Facebook page here.
